Check supplier invoice registration numbers
Check your supplier master's registration numbers monthly through the NTA's Web-API, and list suppliers that were revoked, lapsed, or differ in name.
The problem today
The supplier master holds registration numbers, but nobody checks whether any was revoked or lapsed since. Cloud accounting can check this, but companies with an in-house accounting system can only search the NTA site one number at a time, so it keeps slipping.
The workflow in Kitewell
- Get registration numbers and names from the supplier master (CSV)Automatic
- Look up each number through the NTA's public Web-APIAutomatic
- AI judges revocation and lapse dates and name differences against the masterAI judgment
- Accounting reviews the flagged suppliers and decides whether to ask themHuman task
- Record the results with the date checkedAutomatic
What AI does
Judges whether differences between the published name and the master, such as "Kabushiki Kaisha" versus "(Kabu)" or a former name, refer to the same company, and shows only what needs checking.
Where people decide
Accounting decides whether to contact suppliers whose registration was revoked or lapsed, and how to treat the tax credit.
Features used
What a PoC checks
- Whether an NTA Web-API application ID is obtained and lookups run reliably
- Whether name matching is accurate enough to help the review
- Which suppliers cloud accounting already covers and which need this
